Embroidery is new to my practice, but as the Auric Field show, which I knew I wanted to be about the Chakras, I also really wanted to include some writings. I did not originally think of using my own. However while planning for the show this summer, I had the thought of embroidery writings, (that would be fun!), and then the idea of, hey, what about using my own writings. So, I dug back through my journals of the decades and found a few that work….there are more coming with that body of work…but these fit in well to the questions on being, seeking, asking of life why we are here and what is it all for.
